My bandmate, Singer-Songwriter Shane Cooley came down to Texas from his home-base in Virginia to share the songs off of his recently released album, "Forest", which you can listen to here: https://shanecooley.hearnow.com/ Supporting these beautiful songs with harmonies, we traveled around Texas playing shows and festivals to bring these tunes to vibrational life.
Here is the documentation of the journey:
Kick off show at the Far Out Lounge and Stage in Austin, TX singing "Stella Ray"
Sunrise set at Viva Utopiafest singing, "Texas Sunrise", as the sun rose behind the mountains at Four Sisters Ranch in Utopia, TX
Lori Ellen, Andrew Blanton, and Shane Cooley songwriter and collaboration show at Zoi Market in Buda, TX.
Shane Cooley, Scotty Galaxy, Adam MacFarland, and Mason Lankford embarked on a 4 night song swap called the "Knock it Off" Tour. They began their journey at the Old Quarter in Galveston, TX, where Townes Van Zandt used to play.
I hopped on the tour for the following three shows. Here we are at the Lodge House Concerts in Conroe, TX, where I opened up for the song swap with a set of my own original songs.
Next stop, Franklin's Tower in Spring, TX
Devil's Backbone on Easter Sunday in Fischer, TX
A very special acoustic late night show at the Zen City Stage at Old Settler's Music Festival. This was Shane's official album release date (April 22nd), and also Earth Day!
Check out this Show Review which goes into detail about the vibe of this event:
Austin Album Release Show at Radio Coffee and Beer
The tour was concluded with a full band "Shane Cooley and the Midnight Girls" house show in Austin, TX.
